December 7, 1927 – July 22, 2008 Those that new her called her, "Linda"; a long time resident of the Columbia Heights neighborhood that lived through the Martin Luther King Jr riots and the change of a popular urban neighborhood. She was a senior member of the United Planning Organization (UPO)and had a great love for children. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Chambers of Falls Church, VA, a Goddaughter, Deirdre Davis, a Godson, Benjamin E. Davis II, two Grandchildren, 4 God-grandchildren and host of other family members and friends.
